Malcolm Gladwell, author of one of my favorite books about social economics, “The Tipping Point,” will be releasing another book in November. His new title, “Outliers: Why Some People Succeed and Some Don’t,” promises to challenge common thoughts on what leads to ultra-successful types like Bill Gates. Some are saying he places more focus on a person’s roots and on recognizing the opportunity of the moment than he does on sheer smarts or determination.

The New York Times teaser has about as much as is known about Gladwell’s upcoming book. But rest assured, I’ve already pre-ordered mine!
