The Press Loves Obama, Hates Hillary. Bull.

I honestly couldn’t believe my ears when presidential hopeful Sen. Hilary Clinton, D-NY actually started using the press as part of her campaign tactics - and not even the way most politicians do.
Politicos can dish it, spin it, and repackage it and journalists will do whatever they can to extract the delicate truth from whatever they’re saying. But seriously, to turn to the American Press and say “Hey guys. A little help here?”
So this past week the story started circulating. Clinton said she always gets asked the question first, that the press is handling Obama with kid gloves and that she was being slanted negatively
Now I’m not going to try to justify the actions of the press. The fact of the matter is, every individual journalist is different and you can’t talk about “the press” as if it’s some central bran. Sure there was a trend in coverage that seemed to make Obama out to be more favorable. But he has a better story.
People knew about Hillary’s desire for the presidency in 2004 when she kept assuring everyone she had “no plans to run.” Because of who her husband was, she’d been followed pretty closely.
Obama, on the other hand, came totally from behind when the current race got started. There was more in him for the general public to learn and, thus, more for the press to uncover. Well that and he’s campaigning a bit more effectively.
Perhaps this video will say it more effectively.
